Adolescence sucks almost
as the prejudices people have against minors detained in prison. Here’s a project to fight the stigma.
In 2024, there were more than 500 minors detained in Italian juvenile prisons. “Palla al Centro” is a project from the Francesca Rava non-profit organization that helps them reintegrate back into society.
We noticed that many people find it difficult to empathize with convicts, even if they could be their sons and daughers’ age. But we might get a chance to get to their hearts if we’d shown them for what they really are: just adolescents.
